πŸ’Ž Wineglass v2 Procedural Goblet with Parabolic Stem

source

Description

Inspired by classic glassware, this model focuses on the organic transitions between functional zones. The stem isn't just a support; it's a dynamic curve that reacts to the weight of the bowl and the stability of the base.

Key Features

  • Parabolic Profile: The stem's radius is calculated based on a quadratic function of its height, creating a smooth, weighted silhouette that mimics traditional glass-blowing techniques.

  • Petal Transitions (Fluting): To bridge the gap between the circular base and the stem, as well as the stem and the bowl, "petal-like" facets were added. These provide the characteristic "cut crystal" look from the reference.

  • Central Diamond Node: Replicated the faceted decorative bulb in the center of the stem, which acts as both a visual anchor and a structural reinforcement.
